Between a bright sky, calm water, and earthy grasses, a quiet coastal landscape opens up. Few colors and a reduced composition are enough to capture the feeling of vastness and peace.

The small original was painted in oil on paper and enclosed by me in a hand-cast and hand-finished plaster frame. The dark vintage finish creates an exciting contrast to the bright landscape and gives the work its special, almost nostalgic character.
