I am Anne Schlesinger, a passionate oil painter.

I live with my family in Chemnitz.

Ever since I was a child, painting has inspired me. What began playfully with colors, pencils, and early creative courses gradually became an inner necessity.

After graduating from the vocational technical school for design at the BSZ e.o. Plauen and completing a master craftsman's certificate, my path finally led me entirely to art. Today, I work as a freelance painter.

For me, painting is a quiet yet powerful interplay of emotions: joy, tranquility, warmth, love, and sometimes even frustration. In all of this lies a form of authenticity that I cannot express in any other way than with brush and paint.

Painting allows me to forget everything around me. I immerse myself in the moment, lose myself in it, and find myself again at the same time.

Even if not every day is easy, if some paintings demand a struggle, if doubts quietly creep in: in the end, when I put down my brush and take a step back, a feeling of gratitude remains that I am able to do what I love.
